Mr. Fichtner is a senior environmental engineer with 30+ years of experience. His technical focus is on solid waste management, with a special emphasis on waste treatment technologies such as waste-to-energy, conversion (gasification, pyrolysis), anaerobic digestion, bio-fuels and composting. He is a recognized specialist in the assessment and planning of integrated waste and resource systems that include recycling, organics processing, energy recovery and final disposal. Mr. Fichtner lives in Vancouver, Canada and is currently working with Morrison Hershfield across Canada and internationally. He has worked on projects in Germany, the USA, China, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Turkey and Thailand.
Peter Hunter is a Senior advisor for Wind with 40+ years of international business experience in the Mechanical & Electrical engineering sector of industry. Managing Director of European wind turbines manufacturer, NEG-Micon UK Ltd.; General Manager – Offshore, Nordex (wind) Energy GmbH, Germany; VP Design & Construction at NaiKun Wind Development Inc., Canada.
Prior to entering the wind energy business in 1998 Hunter was project manager of many diverse technical installations throughout the world including major NATO early warning systems in Europe. B.SC. Mechanical Engineering, Brunel University, England.
Finance professional with 15+ years of experience focusing primarily on financial valuation, risk assessment and deal structuring for renewable energy, other forms of power generation and power infrastructure. Responsibilities currently include project valuations for Suncor’s Renewable Energy Group and commercial valuation support to several renewable energy and infrastructure companies in Canada and US. Worked extensively with TransCanada’s Mergers and Acquisitions Risk Group performing commercial due diligence. B.Comm University of Lethbridge and MBA University of Calgary.
Mr. Scott has spent over 25 years in the energy business on project development, engineering and finance.
He was a technical and financial “guru” for Westcoast Energy and Pristine Power, both independent power development companies. Subsequent to Pristine he worked with Haywood Securities where he researched various companies in the mid and downstream oil and gas industry. He currently consults for a number of energy enterprises including First Nations Power Authority of Saskatchewan.
His academic background includes chemical engineering from Queen’s University and MBA from Schulich School of Business – York University
